… to the song invasion!

This is our first effort to promote a song in a very unique way: Various artists record one song in english and / or their native language. Then, on a specific date, all versions are released simultaneously: The song invasion starts.

The first song to be recorded is called “high”, is an uptempo dance track and will be released on 07/23/2011.

Up to the release date, every participating artist is invited to promote their version of the song in every way they can. Anything goes - from talking about the song and this project, to performing the song live - except releasing the full studio version prior to the fixed date.

Songinvasion.com is meant to be the hub of all promotion, so the artists are not only asked to always point to the site when promoting the song, but they are also prompted to share their news, performances - anything artist-related - here with everyone. This will boost interest in this site, and, at the same time, will introduce the musicians to their peers and their respective fans to other interesting artists.

From july 23rd, you can finally purchase the songs worldwide through digital music online retailers like itunes, amazon.com and musicload.de.

On wednesday night, july 20th 2011, Mave and Peter will be live guests on Radio International, where they will chat about the music project "Song Invasion" and their versions of "High". Mave contributes the (original) English version, Peter (DQ) from Denmark, sings another English version and a Danish version called "Indeni".

Mark this day on your calendars: 03/31/2011 is the day when the original version of “High” was born and we’re so proud of it!
